work experience.
For my work experience I went to Dan Tobin Smith photography studios. I was working with their digital retoucher Martin and was lucky enough for him to teach me how to edit images on photo shop just like he dose. For the first week I was helping him on simple jobs and he taught me the basic principles of retouching. I really enjoyed this and loved working on the pictures. Everyday I was really exited to go in and see what I would be doing.

For the second week (as there were no shoots on) I was extremely lucky and was allowed to go into the studio and use their equipment to shoot perfume bottles. I was given 2 boxes full of amazing perfumes from previous shoots and could chose which ones I wanted to take pictures of. After I had taken the images Martin showed me how to use layers and take the best parts of the bottle to form a overall image. I can honestly say that I loved every minute of it. Everyone there was really welcoming and I hope to go back and help out again in the future.

MY PICTURES.
As there were not any shoots going on whilst I was at the studio, Martin set one up for me as if I was the photographer. He drew 2 sketches and told me this is what they are given from the client for there proper jobs. He then gave me the props and let me in the studio for 2 days to shoot the pictures I needed. Afterwards he showed me how to edit them such as how to use 's curves' to make the pictures colour better looking. At the end he printed out all the final pictures that I had retouched just like they would for their clients and let me take them home. I truly loved this experience and am so grateful for the all opportunities I was given whilst I was there.
Personal images.
These are some other images that I took and edited in my time at the studios.
