Michael Christopher Brown
These photos were taken by Michael Christopher Brown who recently produced a compelling photo essay on the revolution in Libya using only an iPhone. Although he was criticised for overprocessing his images in Hipstamatic, shooting on the iPhone gave him a level of access prized by professional photographers. I believe he is an inspiration for risking his life to document these tragic events.

My favorite pictures.
I really love this photo I took. The filter gives the image a great tone which resembles a storm cloud. I think the clouds behind the barren trees looks really beautiful.

I like this picture as I love the gradient effect on the door numbers. I also like the composition of it and how they tilt towards each-other like a mirror image.

My very favorite.
This is my favorite image as it really represents autumn for me. I love the fact it looks like it is real film that has been slightly over exposed in the left corner. I just overall love the colors and how all four images come together.
Revisiting our pictures.
I chose one of my images that I wanted to revisit and improve and went back to try and take it in different ways. The pictures above were my first try, I uploaded them but wanted to take more so I went out again.
I really love these images I created and think they look hauntingly beautiful. I think the colours of the filters make them look much older than they are and give them a more aged and vintage feel. I think the branches look haunting and magical and their silhouette is so delicate and detailed. The overall impact of the images is strong as they are quite moody and almost eire. I am most happy with this set out of all the other pictures I have taken throughout the duration of this topic as I think they are really mesmerising.
Autumn.
